This is a personal, non-profit website that follows my interests; free heel skiing, ski mountaineering, adventure touring, writing and photography. It has a strong free heel skiing flavour but in truth it is more about freeing the mind. Although my book 'Skiing From The Inside' is out of print and I have retired from ski coaching, I still enjoy sharing my love of mountains through words and images. The Links page could be your first step towards the summit of Mt Blanc or even Everest, learning to telemark ski or ski touring. Check out the bibliography in the Coaching pages to glean mountain wisom from other sources so that you can become responsible and safe in a wild environment.
